We regretfully announce the passing of Mary Agnes Mason of Oakville, ON on October 7, 2023. Mary was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Mary or May as she was known to most people was one of the kindest and most generous women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family.

In 1951 she met Patrick and together they went on to have two children. Mary was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Mason and eldest son, Brian Mason. Mary is survived by her son Mark Mason; her granddaughter Caitlin Mason; and her sister Jean Lithgow.

A special thank you to the excellent staff at OTMH palliative care unit who went above and beyond to make sure mom was comfortable in her final days.

The family will receive friends at a celebration of Mary's life to be held on Thursday October 19, 2023 in the lounge at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street)  from 3 pm - 5 pm.
