Peacefully in Oakville on Friday, August 19, 2016 in her 104th year. Daughter of the late Rev. John Bodrug and Olga (Bachinska) Bodrug. Beloved wife of Stephen Shumeyko (d. 1962) and Dimitri Horbay (d. 1996). Beloved step-mother of Greg Horbay (Gladine). Predeceased by her brothers Nestor (Muriel Bell d.), Bill (Doris Ogilvie d.), Ed (Day Hewitt d.) and sisters Lydia Biddle (John d.) and Alice Smith (Seward d.). Mary was a devout, loving aunt who will be missed by relatives in Canada, U.S.A., Honduras and Ukraine. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block East of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville, with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service.
