At Northridge Long Term Care Centre, Oakville, Ontario on Friday January 9, 2009, Mary Caverley (Killaloe Station, Ontario) in her 93rd year, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her bedside. Devoted and caring mother of Don (Yvonne) Caverley from Victoria, BC and twin daughters - Janet Caverley from Toronto and Joan (Ian) Hay from Oakville. Loving grandmother of Dr. Natasha Caverley, Sara and Stephen Hay. Dearest sister of Margaret Grand of Welland. Predeceased by her parents, Mary Catharine and Cornelius Ryan; also predeceased by siblings – Tom, Jack, Patrick, Beatrice and Fidelis. Mary was a registered nurse and graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Sudbury, Ontario. She was in the nursing field for over 40 years (private duty, and at three local Sudbury hospitals). Mary attended Christ the King Church (Sudbury) and St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church (Oakville). Our family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the very dedicated Post House Staff at Northridge. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew's Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Mary was loved by many and will live forever in the hearts of her children and grandchildren.
