Our dear Nana, Mother and Wife passed away peacefully after a long illness at the Credit Valley Hospital on Tuesday June 15, 2010, in her 85th year. Deeply missed by her loving husband of 61 years, Vladimir Stojan Brajsa (Mississauga), adored mother of Christine and husband Charles Barsony, and cherished Nana to grandchildren Stefan and Celeste. (Stirling, Ontario), also Sister-in-law of Bozena Naughton (England) and Dana Brajsa (Italy). Always smiling and generous, Nana loved her family, friends and pets and enjoyed socializing, music, cooking, gardening, reading and travelling in Europe and the Americas with her family. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Robert Athey, his staff and the untiring nurses and doctors at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, for their compassionate care during her stay. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Saturday, June 19 from 1-3pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 21 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Reception to follow in the parish centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.
