Passed away peacefully on Thursday March 28, 2019 at West Oak Village in Oakville. Beloved wife of the late Robert Bergey (2002). Loving mother of Robert Jr. of Newmarket and Beverley Phillips (Rob) of Oakville. Proud grandmother of Damian (Elizabeth), Michelle (Frank), Kristjan (Holly), Benjamin (Kate), Andrew (Ashley), and Elizabeth (Jeff). Much loved great grandmother (Gigi) of Stuart, Natasha, Ally, Jacob, Mary Anne, Robyn, Adelaide, Cordelia, Freya, Emma, Sophie and Abby. Loving sister of Charlotte House (Don) and her brothers Murray (Merle), Roy (Madeleine) and Bill (Carol). Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Janis and brothers Earl and Fred.

Born and raised in Kitchener, Marlyn moved with Bob to Peterborough where she lived for 55 years. In 2005 she returned to Waterloo and then later moved to Oakville. Marlyn will be remembered for her kindness to everyone she encountered. Special thanks to the staff at West Oak Village for their years of loving care and support.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's United Church, 454 Rebecca, Street, Oakville. Reception to follow. An interment service will take place at a later date. In memory of Marlyn, donations to Christ Lutheran Church, 463 Highland Road, Peterborough would be appreciated.
