Downie, Mark Andrew

Peacefully on Friday December 1, 2017 at the Credit Valley Hospital surrounded by his family and close friends. Mark, loving husband of Denise McCourtie. Devoted father to Tara and Nathan. Beloved son of Paul and Anita Downie and son-in-law of the late Dr. David and Patricia McCourtie. Loved brother of Michelle Dean and her husband John. Brother-in-law of Kate and Derrall Bellaire and Jim and Kim McCourtie. Dear uncle of Hannah, Ian, Abby and Michael. Mark will be remembered by all who knew him for his caring nature, profound loyalty, wit and awesome sense of humour.

Friends and family may call at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) on Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday December 7, 2017 at 1 pm in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. Cremation to follow. If desired, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
