Bauer: Marion Victoria

Marion Victoria Bauer (nee Johnson) passed away peacefully Monday, June 9th, 2014 at the age of 85 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of 58 years to Richard, cherished Mother of Bob (Cathy), Philip (Sylvia) and John (Michelle). Proud and loving Grandmother to Tristan, James, Dylan and Ryan. Born in Port Arthur and raised in Fort William, Ontario, Marion will be sadly missed by Sister Greta (Alan), sister-in-law Annemarie, brothers- in-law Peter, Helmut (Karin), Gunter and many nieces and nephews across Canada and Germany. Predeceased by siblings Agnes, John, Ina and Doris. Special thank you to niece Jutta van Mal for her loving and tender care of Marion in the last month of her life. The family would also like to give a very special thank you to the wonderful and caring staff of TLC – Teresa, Janet, Soulage, Mirjama, Epifania, Dhalia and Rose and are especially grateful to Dr. Besik and the Palliative Care team at Credit Valley Hospital. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Monday. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, 304 Spruce St. Oakville. Interment Spring Creek Cemetery, Clarkson.
