Also known as GRAN, died peacefully at home on Monday, February 25, 2013 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Frank Wilton Baillie and the late Thomas Gordon Ferris. Much loved mother of Diana Howard, Aubrey Wilton Baillie (Marsha), John Wilton Baillie (Louise), and Mary Baillie. Loving "Gran" to Baillie Howard, Sue Bonden, (Jamie), Jennifer Howard, Doug Howard (Marianne), Julia Osena (Cyrus), Aubrey Baillie (Monica), Samantha Baillie, Susie Reid (Scott), Heather MacDonald (Darren) and Ben Wright, Mark Ferris, and Blair Ferris (Ali). Gran also had 15 great-grandchildren! Jonathan, Ben and Maddie Sisokin, Oliver, Charlie and Doug Bonden, Katie and Emma Wilson, Isabel and Tristan Osena, Alexandra and Maya Baillie, Emily Howard, Alice Reid, and Charlie Ferris. Born April 24, 1913, to Sibylla Budd Holton and James Moodie. Predeceased by sisters Jean Drynan (Chick) and Frances Hall (Peter), and brothers David Moodie (Mary Celia), and Jim Moodie (Daze). Just shy of celebrating her 100th birthday, Gran (or Puss, as she was known for many years), saw so many changes from her childhood in Hamilton, where her father owned one of the first cars in Ontario, to routine space shuttles, to the internet, Google and Facebook. The family would like to thank the Oakville Palliative Care team, Dr. Helen Pyle, nurse Janine Munro, along with Halton CCAC, and our "home care team" Alfreda, Pearl, Chelsea, Vicky, Julie, Elsa and Sonny for their love and caring support of Gran. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Oakville Hospital Foundation. Funeral was held at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville, on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 1pm.
