It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Vito Marino (Mario) Novielli on December 24, 2022, at the age of 91. Mario is now reunited with his beloved wife, Maria (April 9, 1995).

Loving father to his son Tony (Denise) and his daughter Anna (Sam). Proud Nonno to Lorena (Joseph), Stephanie (Nathan), Veronica and Michael and great grandfather to Chiara and Ava.

Caring brother of the late Gennaro (late Sara) and survived by sister Rosa (late Pasquale). Mario will be missed by his extended family in Canada, Italy and the USA.

Mario's happiest moments throughout his life were spent in the company of his family. His love and passion for gardening and cooking were admired by all and his story telling truly captivated his family and friends. He took great pride in all that he accomplished, he had an incredible work ethic, positive attitude for life and was a kind, honest man.

Mario was blessed with a wonderful, long, well-lived life and was able to witness the growth and development of his family, creating fond and cherished memories.  His legacy will live on in all of us and he will be greatly missed.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family. The family invites you to join them for the Funeral Mass at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church 10:30 am Thursday December 29, 2022.
