IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marilyn
Cumming
September 14, 1939 – May 7, 2025
Marilyn Cumming (nee Collier, nee Sigurdson) passed away in her 86th year after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold; her son, Dan; her sister, Barb; and her brother, Ted. Marilyn is survived by her husband Tom, children: Jim (Lynn), Tricia, and Cam; her grandchildren: Deanna, Erin (Darvesh), Justin (Devyn), Matt (Cadence), and Kelly; as well as her many beloved great-grandchildren, her brother, Ron and her sisters, Joan and Dianne.
Marilyn was a kind and thoughtful soul who brought a smile to everyone privileged to know her. A devoted member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years, she formed lifelong friendships and dedicated herself to helping others. In retirement, she remained active at the Oakville Seniors Centre, organizing trips and participating in the Craft Club. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all friends and loved ones for their support during Marilyn's illness. We are grateful she was able to remain at home, surrounded by love.
