Passed peacefully with her family surrounding her, at the Hamilton General Hospital on September 3, 2025. Mara was born May 5th, 1942 in Polača, near Knin, in the former Jugoslavia born to Gojko and Sava Lazić. She was one of five children. She is survived by her loving husband Milivoj Radinović, and children Slavenka (Danny) Pankerichan, Senka (Chedo) Šobot, Željka Drazecky, Mike (Laura) Radinović. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Nick (Erin) Pankerichan, Daniela Pankerichan, Kristen Šobot, Michael (Jacqueline) Šobot, Jordan Šobot, Matthew Drazecky, Lukas Radinović, Thomas Radinović, Tanner Drazecky, Brooklyn Drazecky, and Charlotte Radinović, and great grandchildren Theodore Pankerichan, Molly Pankerichan, Willa Mara Pankerichan, Henry James Šobot, and her close family, extended family, kumovi, friends, and neighbours.

Family and friends will be received at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home on Friday September 5th, 2025 at 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr St) from 6 pm-8 pm, with pomen at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be held this Saturday September 6th at 10:00am at Sv Peter i Pavle (1039 Dundas St W) followed by interment at 11:00am, at St Volodymyr Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St West, Oakville.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sv Petar and Pavle church in Oakville.
