With heavy hearts and love, we announce the passing of Marie Koprich, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. She leaves behind her husband Steve, her children Susan (Peter), Denise (Amir), Stephen, and Michael (Carole), as well as grandchildren Amir Jr, Olivia, Cassie, Austin and Declan, all of whom loved her very much.

Marie's commitment to her profession and students was truly extraordinary. Being taught by Mrs. K meant developing a deep affection for learning. Marie loved her family above all else and had a strong passion for philanthropy, travelling, social gatherings, sports, music, and the Christmas season. However, her faith held the utmost importance in her life. Both Marie and Steve actively participate in their parish.

She was one of a kind, and we are grateful to have had her in our lives. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will remain in our hearts. May God bless her.

Visitation to be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, ON on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm. Memorial Mass to be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, ON.

Black dress is not required. Joyful colour is welcome and encouraged.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul - St Matthew Conference would be appreciated by the family.
