Peacefully on Tuesday February 19, 2019 at the Brantford General Hospital with her daughter Martha (Jim Wilson) by her side. Maria is survived by her grandchildren, Steve (Jessica), Tammy (Chris), Robert, Jimmy (Robin),  greatgrandchildren Emma, Thaya-Maria, Ty, Makayla, Ethan, Aerial, Login and Zachary, and nephews Werner and Alfred Hartel. Retired from Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Housekeeping after 32 years of service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 11 am with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
