Peacefully on Tuesday March 29, 2022 with her family by her side.  Maria, beloved wife of late Jose.  Loving mother of Judite (Leonel Ramos), Jose (Janice), and  Fatima (the late John Da Costa).  Devoted grandmother to her 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Cherished sister of Manuel, Jose, Mariana and Mario.  Maria will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends both in Canada and Azores.  Visitation will be held the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) on Friday April 1 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 2, 2022 at St Joseph's Portuguese Church, 2451 Old Bronte Road, Oakville at 10 am.  Interment Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.
