It's with sadness we announce the passing of Maria Lidia Matos she passed away courageously with her family by her side on April 9,2018 at the age of 83.
She was a devoted wife and best friend to Luis Matos for 66 years, loving mother of Lidia Maria (Cesar), Lisa (Frank), Manuel (Carmina), Antonieta (Luis), proud grandmother of Judy, Jeff, Jessica, Shannon, Natasha and Robyn, great grandmother to Taylor, Catalaya, Liliana,Thalia and Briella, survived by her brother Jose Eugenio.
Anyone who was fortunate to have Maria Lidia in their life will remember a woman with a kind and generous heart and with unconditional love for her family.
Visitation at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass 10 am Thursday April 12, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville.  Entombment Glen Oaks Cemetery.
