Maria Goriup passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 12th, 2009 at Ian Anderson House in Oakville, Ontario. Beloved wife of Mario, cherished mother of Tom and Carolyn, Damian and Carol and Andre and Line, sister of Joza and Lojska of Slovenia, aunt of Helena and Vittorio and adored Nona of Michael, Alina, Tomas, Marc, Sebastian and Sophia. Maria will be dearly missed by friends, family and neighbours and will always be remembered as a loving, fun, energetic woman who was supportive of family and friends. Many thanks to the wonderful caring staff and volunteers at Ian Anderson House. A celebration of her life will take place at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville, Ontario on Wednesday Oct 14th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Miraculous Medals, 739 Browns Line Etobicoke, Ontario on Thursday October 15, 2009 at 10:00 am.
