Passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 2, 2025 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington at the age of 94.

Maria is now reunited with her beloved husband Manuel Goulart da Costa.  Loving mother of Manny and Suzy (Linda and Silvio).  She found strength and joy in her grandchildren Daniel (Brittany), Shellie (Austen) and Joshua and delighted in every moment spent with them.

Maria will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and love of song.  She will continue to sing with the angels in the choirs in Heaven.
