Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Maria Jose Camara announce her passing on April 21, 2022. She is predeceased by her husband Carlos Castro Camara and her grandson Jacob.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Jose Carlos, Filomena, Antonio, John, Luisa, Grace, Helena, and Luis.
She was an adoring vavo and will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Sandy, Paula, Danny, Aura, Melissa, Marina, Johnathan, Michael, Alexander, Phillip, Jason, Christopher, Maia, Mikayla, Elijah, and Victor.
She was also a loving great grandmother to Michela, Savanna, Joshua, Mateus, Noah, Julianna, Maverick, and an adoring step great grandmother to Sophia, Miah and Matheo.
Although no longer by our side, you will be forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday April 24, 2022 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 6 pm - 9 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday April 25, 2022 at St. Joseph's Portuguese Roman Catholic Church, 2451 Old Bronte Road, Oakville at 10 am.
Interment to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Patty's Place for Dementia Care in honour of Maria.
