BRISTER, Margot Belle (Seguin)

It is with profound sadness we share news of the peaceful passing of Margot Brister on 20 May 2022, following a brief illness.

Margot was the loving and much loved wife of the late Joseph Brister.  She is survived by her two daughters, Kim (Robert) and Robin (late Philip).  She was the proud grandmother to Jennifer (Derek), Matthew (Jocelyn), Timothy, Robert and Alexandra.  She was overjoyed to be a GG to her great grandson.  Margot is also survived by her sister June along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mirza (Cockburn Seguin) Chaput and her brother Jerry (Jerome) Seguin.  Margot was a retired school teacher with the Halton District School Board.  Following her retirement she enjoyed a life filled with family, friends, golf and bridge.

We extend our deep gratitude and thanks to the Palliative Care team from Acclaim Health, Margot's nurses Rose and Gurbinder, and especially Dr. Hayder Mahdi and Carolyn Salo, Woodview Medical Clinic for their unwavering care, compassion, kindness and support during Mom's final journey.

Mom experienced a life well lived.  She was loved and will remain forever in our hearts.
