Passed away peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Born on March 18, 1928 in Benfica, Lisbon, Portugal. Beloved wife of Antonio Medeiro Paixao. Cherished mother of Joseph Paixao, Carlos Paixao and wife Kathleen Morkin, Ann Marie Paixao-Pauk and husband Ron. Loving grandmother of Justin and Whitney Paixao, Miguel Paixao and wife Gia. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) from 6-9pm Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
