With great sadness, Margaret's family share the loss of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who passed peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Billings Court Manor Long Term Care facility surrounded by her family. Loved mother of Alice, Daniel, Herman, Mary, James, Paul, Stephen, Elena, Phyllis, Marlene and Janis, dear grandmother of 28 grandchildren, great grandmother of 18 great grandchildren and great great grandmother of 2 great great grandchildren she will be deeply missed. Margaret enjoyed a passion for music, art and books and was, above all else, devoted entirely to her family. Through the years Margaret was forever ready to lend a helping hand whenever possible and has touched many people in many ways. Margaret, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia was predeceased by her husband Daniel and her six brothers and sisters. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful nurses, caregivers and other staff at Billings Court Manor for their care and compassion. Funeral service 1:30 pm Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
