IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Louise Doreen (Peg)
Nobbs (nee Woodford)
June 25, 1930 – January 18, 2026
Passed away peacefully on Sunday January 18, 2026 at The Post Inn Village in Oakville. She was 95 years old.
Peg is predeceased by her mom and dad, Cecille and Reggie, her stepdad, Harry, her brother, Ken and her beloved husband Ted.
She is survived by her children, Terryn (Jared), Brett (Meaghan), Torrie (Elom), Alex, Meghan (Marc), Shanna (Jacob), Haley, Reghan, Lucas and Leyton, and her great grandchildren Mason, Wyatt, Logan, Amelia, Luna, Eloise, and Simone.
Born in Calgary, AB on June 25, 1930, Peg went to Heritage Hall and Balmoral elementary schools and then Crescent Heights High School. All with her lifelong friend Shirley. After high school she went to nursing school becoming and RN in 1952. After that she signed on as a flight attendant at Trans Canada Airlines. It was during this time that she moved to Toronto and met the love of her life, Ted. Peg and Ted spent the next 66 years together travelling the world and raising an ever-expanding family. They created wonderful traditions and experiences for their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids that we all cherish and that will live on forever.
Peg was an avid reader and a master bridge player. On Rogerswood Court and Forsythe Avenue, she was the bridge partner everybody wanted. She loved her time golfing at Credit Valley G&CC becoming Lady’s President and notching a Hole-In-One on the tough 11th hole. She made so many lifelong friends along the way.
Never was there a time that she wasn’t there to lend an ear, offer advice, make your favourite meal, and above all else, make you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Because to her, you were.
We could write a novel with all the wonderful memories we have with her. Who knows, maybe someday we will, but for now we will just say thanks for everything Mom/Nan/Peg. Your kindness, wisdom, and humour will be missed always.
