People say time heals all wounds

and maybe that is true

but time is passing oh, so slow

since I lost you.

when I'm feeling blue,

but understanding does not help

Yes time and understanding

may someday heal my pain,

but only with the firm belief

that we will meet again.

These words were yours when your mum passed,

Today we feel your pain,

But knowing you're a part of us helps us feel right again.

When we raise our voice against injustice and inequity

When we love with every fibre and when we sing passionately

You're in our laughter and our wisdom and our creativity

You'll always be a part of us, for all eternity.
