It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Margaret Glenn at St. Peter's Hospice in Hamilton Ontario on August 8th, 2018.
Marg was in her 88th year and was predeceased by her husband Gordon Everett Glenn in 1999. She is survived by their three sons Brian (Caroline), Chris (Carol) and Frank; seven grandchildren Randy, Jenny, Elizabeth, Robbie, Tyler, Justin and Samantha; and her sister Alma Moreau and sister-in-law Gwen Culp.
Marg was one of six siblings born in Port Colborne Ontario. She graduated from Waterloo College and the University of Toronto Library School.
Before retiring, Marg worked as a librarian in Toronto, Oakville and Burlington. She was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church of Oakville. She was a former member of the Kinette Club and the University Women's Club. She loved reading, gardening, knitting and rug hooking.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wentworth Heights retirement home in Hamilton Ontario, for their care, compassion and support while looking after Marg for the past 15 months.
After a private family service, cremation and burial will be at Bayview Cemetery in Burlington Ontario, in a niche with her husband Gord.
Together forever.
