Passed away quietly at her home on Monday, November 17, 2008 surrounded by her family, after a courageous three year battle with ovarian cancer. She was deeply loved by all who touched her wonderful life. She will be missed greatly by her husband Ken, her daughters Vicki and her husband Zhenya, Cindy and her husband Chris, her grandchildren Nicolas, Annie, Maggie and Ellen, her mother Doris and her sister Susie. Miggs made many enduring friendships through her love of sports, weekends at the cottage, travel and business. A celebration of her life with family and friends will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Oakville Golf & Country Club, 1154 Sixth Line, Oakville from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to Ovarian Cancer Canada at www.ovariancanada.org.
