Margaret Marlise Campbell July 14, 1938 - March 30, 2025

On March 30, 2025 Margaret Campbell passed away suddenly at Oakville Memorial Hospital with her husband Bob and daughter Karen. Margaret was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Daughter of Charlie and Violet Nesbit. Survived by loving husband, Robert (Bob) Campbell of 62 years, daughters Debbie, Karen and Heather, son-in-law's Donald, Terry and Bob, grandchildren Samantha, Isaac, Owen, Jennifer, Jason, Kurtis, Matthew, Michael and Lauren and 10 great grandchildren. She was survived by her brother George and was predeceased by her sister Barbara.

Margaret grew up and was educated in Fredericton New Brunswick. She began working at Swazey's Jewellery store until she married and became a military wife. International postings included Germany, India and United States of America. Two of their three daughters were born in Germany.

While in New Brunswick she volunteered at the Oromocto Hospital. In London, Ontario, she took on part time work and also became the President of the Royal Canadian Regiment Officers' Wives Club.

In Fayetteville, North Carolina, she started working at Modelle's Wedding Boutique and became a seller, a buyer and a model for the store.

After relocating to Sault Ste. Marie, she opened Miss Margaret's Modelling Studio, which she ran successfully for three years. She sold the business and moved with her husband to North York. She and her friend Sandy Forrest took over a candy kiosk in a mall for two years before moving again, this time to Oakville where her and her husband cofounded a printing company that they kept in operation for 31 years.

Margaret was a kind, generous and loving person. As a matriarch of such a large family, she loved spending time with her daughters and she adored her "angels" as she loved to call her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday April 21, 2025 at Walton Memorial United Church, 2489 Lakeshore Road West; Oakville at 1 pm.  A reception to follow in Bronte Hall.
