IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Malcolm
Sutton
February 17, 1956 – December 27, 2025
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the unexpected death, in his 70th year, of Malcolm R. Sutton on December 27, 2025. He was born in Montreal, Quebec on February 17, 1956, the youngest of four children. Malcolm is predeceased by his mother, Margaret (Scally) Sutton, his brother Brian D. Sutton, and his brother-in-law, Michael Shultz. He is survived by his life-long partner, Sandra Weissman, his father, Gerald Sutton, his two sisters, Chris Johnson and Deb Shultz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Malcolm moved to Oakville in 1977 with his parents and grandmother. Within a short space of time, he got a job at Schlegel Industries, and over the years worked his way up to plant manager, retiring in 2022.
He and Sandy bought a house in Oakville to be near his parents and spent over 45 years enjoying Oakville and the surrounding country. They spent many happy days camping, hiking, and reading. He spent the last few years as care-giver to his partner, Sandy, and was unstinting in his devotion to her.
