It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Magdalena Janakovic. Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and friend. She died peacefully on October 21 at the age of 88 after a long battle with cancer.

Cherished mother to Joe (Tammy). Devoted and caring grandmother to Evan and Avalee. She will forever be remembered by many family and friends. Predeceased by her late husband Nikola. Loving daughter of the late Janko and Ana Mikesic. Sister to the late Mara (Josip) Francic.

Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) on Friday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm with parish prayers at 8 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 26, 2024 at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville at 10 am.  Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
