Greenwood, Mabel

Peacefully on Friday December 29, 2017 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with her family by her side, just one day after celebrating her 96 ^th birthday. Mabel, born in Shalloway, Nfld. had a rich and full life. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Cornelius Boelhower and the late Bill Greenwood. Loving mother of Ginny Boelhower, Susan and her husband Gary Pinney and John and his wife Mary Ellen Boelhower. Loved Nana of Christopher (Angie) and Nicholas (Kathryn). Devoted Nana Mabel to Hazel and Maeve. A proud Newfoundlander, Mabel built a community of love and care around everyone that knew her. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block East of Kerr St.) on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at 11 am. If desired, remembrances to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
