After a 4 year battle with dementia at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Saturday, June 22, 2013 with his wife Lina and daughter Antonia by his side. Son-in-law Gino Montanari and grandson Massimiliano. Brother of the late Lucia and Ida. Sister Elide and Maria. Brother-in-law of Lidia (Tony Mastroianni). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Thank you to Dr. Thomas Stanton for all his care over the many years and the wonderful staff at 4 East OTMH. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) from 6-9pm Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday. Funeral Mass 11 am Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville. Entombment Glen Oaks Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Foundation, Parkinson Society or St. James Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
