Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Louise Mary Whiten, 51 of Oakville, Ontario on December 3, 2020.

Louise was the beloved wife of Ching Mac and devoted mother of Adam and Jake, daughter of Daphne and Keith (deceased), loving sister to Paula (Paul), Beverley (Tim) and Richard (Amanda) and Gary (Shereen) of the UK. Cherished aunt to Nicholas (Kaitlyn), Brendon (Jaime), Emily, Taylor (Morgan), Ben, Andrew, Sam, Logan, Emma, Sarah and Maria, daughter in law of Tu Tu and Ying Mac, sister-in-law of Sudan Cashin (Mark), and aunt to Kyle and Shane

She was born in England and moved to Canada at the age of 8.  She went to High School in Bowmanville Ontario where she was actively involved in the drama productions, honed her Latin skills and decided that physics was not for her ;-).  To no one's surprise, she made many lifelong friends over her time spent there.  After graduation from BHS, she pursued her education at Queen's University in Kingston, becoming a proud and devoted alumnus (Cha-gheill!), discovering that water could freeze in the glass on your nightstand when you lived in a student house, and collecting many more friends.  Most importantly, however, it was through her time at Queen's that she found the love of her life, Ching.  She turned her attention, at this stage, to the pursuit of her career and enrolled in a Masters in Speech Pathology at Western University acquiring even more friends along the way.  With a devoted husband and a career in hand she then brought her two beautiful boys, Adam and Jake, into the world and this was her reason for being for the past 18 years.

Lou loved to travel the world, drink wine and eat great food at the cottage, walk her dog endlessly and exercise regularly but most importantly she loved just spending time with her family.

She will be sincerely missed and forever in our hearts.

Due to COVID attendance at visitation on Monday December 7, 2020 is by registration only.
