IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louie Valentino
Ongaro
November 14, 1931 – November 5, 2024
On Tuesday November 5th, 2024, the world lost a great man, Louie Valentino Ongaro. A loving husband to the late Fay Patricia Lawrence, caring and giving Father to the late Peter (Pete) Michael Ongaro, surviving son Robert (Bob) Louie Ongaro, and daughter-in law Tracey Lynn Ongaro; as well as a kind hearted and generous Nonno to Sydney and Jack.
Lou was a quiet man and observed the world around him. When the time was right, you could be lucky enough to hear one of his many stories and share a laugh. He told them in such a way that could make you feel like you were there with him. He was also sure to let you know of his true identity, T.W. aka Top Wop.
Lou had a long and full life, always giving and never asking for anything in return. Even in the end, he never changed his true selfless ways and silently passed away with his family by his side.
One of Lou's greatest passions was creating beautiful, thoughtful, and often intricate woodworking pieces, which he loved to share with his family and friends. Nothing gave him greater pride than to share his gift with those he loved.
Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home on Monday November 11, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
