It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our mother Lorraine Vautour (LeBlanc), a.k.a Meme, at the age of 90 on December 25th, 2024.

She was born in Rexton, NB to Osithe and Adolph LaBlanc as the 5th of their 12 children. Lorraine was the loving wife of Ovila Vautour, who she now joins in eternal rest.  She was also the loving mother to both Joan Legleiter (Herb) and Loretta Murphy (Allan).  She cherished her 4 grandchildren: Tammy Turnbull (Shane), Wayne Legleiter (Jody), Michael Murphy and Nick Legleiter (Leanne). Meme also adored her 10 great-grandchildren:  Ayden, Hunter, Jaime, and Paige Turnbull, Arwen Murphy, and Carson, Brook, Breanne, Jakob, and Aiden Legleiter.

She was best known for her hard work as a seamstress; making draperies and clothes for children of 3rd world countries. For many years, she was also a member of the CWL (Catholic Women's League) at St. Dominic Parish, and enjoyed playing Euchre with her friends as well as baking and cooking.

Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home on January 2nd from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, as well as 11:00 am - 12:30 pm on January 3rd  which will be followed by a Catholic Mass at 1:00 pm at St. Dominic Parish, after which there will be a reception.
