Peacefully on Monday December 14, 2020 in his 96 ^th year after a battle with COVID 19.  Lorne was married to the late Betty Marvel and had two sons, Gordon (Wendy) and Brian (Blessing) and was grandpa to Emily and Brier.  He married Betsy Watson in 1995 and was step-father to Douglas, Harold and James.  He will be lovingly remembered by Lorne Gilbertson (Sue) and their children Cara and Brian as well as his extended family and friends.  Due to COVID restrictions a private family graveside service will be held at St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville.  Remembrances to the CCS or the charity of your choice in Lorne's memory would be appreciated by his family.
