Lore Kirsten passed away peacefully on November 27,2025 with her son Edward by her side at Royal Rose Place Nursing Home in Welland.

Lore is now reunited with her beloved husband Johann who passed in 1979. Leaving behind surviving siblings Emma, Helga, Dora, Klaus and Werner all still in Germany. She also leaves beloved sons Jurgen (Shelley) of Cowansville, PQ and Edward (Angela) of Welland; grandchildren Mark (Andrea) of New Jersey, Bryan (Fabia) of Whitby,  Melanie (Tyler) of Hamilton; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Lore was a strong, resilient woman of great faith and compassion. No one was more giving and thoughtful. Welcome to heaven Lore!

All funeral services will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W. Oakville, ON. Wednesday December 3, 2025
Visitation 11 am
Service 12 pm
Reception 1 pm
Burial thereafter at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery on Dundas St. Oakville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lore's honour to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario .
