Lois Anderson (nee Elliot) passed away on Saturday August 9, 2025, at the age of 93, at Henley House LTC, St Catherines Ontario.  It is with sadness we say goodbye, but also find hope as she is no longer constrained by a mind and body that does not function.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack as well as her sister Audrey ( Bruce) Duff.  Forever remembered by her children Joy (Paul) White, Ray(Jennifer) Anderson, Dale ( Connie) Anderson and Todd (Teri) Anderson.  Grandmother to Graham, Chris, Lynnea, Vincent, Alex, Caroline, Philippe, Madison and Sterling.  Great grandmother to Judith, Frances, Faye, Celia, August and Helena.

Lois was born in High River Alberta, and grew up in Calgary Alberta.  Lois was married to Jack Anderson for 63 years.  She and Jack  moved several times, living in Edmonton, Hamilton, Selkirk, Winnipeg, London, Pointe Claire, Oakville and Wasaga Beach.

Lois will be remembered for her devotion to Jack and her family.  She worked in accounts receivable, putting Jack through Divinity School when they were first married, then stayed at home raising her family for many years.  Later, she returned to the workplace to work in accounting services for several companies and organizations over the years.  She was known for her meticulous attention to details, and secret stashes of candy.  Lois loved decorating cakes and was pleased to contribute to many celebrations over the years.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, leather work, puzzles, camping, reading and singing in the choir.

We would like to thank the staff at Henley House for their care of Lois over the last 7 years.

Memorial Service will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road west, Oakville ( one block east of Kerr Street, 905-844-2600)  on Saturday Sept 27, 2025 at 2 pm with reception and visitation to follow at 3 pm.
