Beloved son of the late Fred and Emily Turner of Oakville, passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in his 81st year. Survived by his adoring wife Doreen and daughter Melanie. Beloved brother to Marilyn and uncle to Alison and Tom. He will be sadly missed by his many relatives and friends. Lloyd enjoyed countless years as a proud and active member of the Oakville community. A special thank you to the caring staff at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Credit Valley Hospital and all his homecare nurses. A funeral service will be held at the KOPRIVA TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr) at 2pm with visitation one hour prior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
