Following a courageous battle with cancer, Lloyd passed away at home on January 25, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 74. Predeceased by his dear parents, Vera and Lazar (Nick) Lazic, and his cherished mother-in-law, Myrle Williams. Beloved husband of Gail (née Williams). Loving father of Nicholas (Nick). Treasured brother of Lorinda (Lory) and brother-in-law, John Angus. Proud uncle of nephews Christopher and Sean Angus. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Gordon Williams and his wife Muriel, and an extended family of close cousins, especially Norma and Harold Monteith. He valued his dear friends, who will miss him deeply.

Lloyd lived a full life, rich in love, laughter, and dedication to his family and his profession. He also loved his music, his cars, and cooking.

Lloyd graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering. His 50 years as a working engineer started with a long and successful career at Atomic Energy of Canada (AECL). Following his retirement from AECL, he consulted in the nuclear industry to share his experience and knowledge with future generations of engineers. In his professional life, he worked and traveled worldwide and continued to enjoy traveling in his personal life.

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (905-844-2600), on Friday, January 31, 2025.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held.
