It is with deep sadness we share that after a short but incredibly hard-fought battle, the remarkable Linda left this world on Sunday May 19th, 2024, in her beloved Oakville, Ontario, at age 81.

Linda was so much to so many. Mom, partner, Mother-in-Law, sister, aunt, and friend to an incredible number of people, but most of all, the BEST Nana to her 4 Grandkids.  She walked through this world with a giving heart, fighting spirit, fierce love for her people, endless but quiet thoughtfulness, and a passion for fun, sports, travel and art (and Neil Diamond!).

Linda was the loving partner of Garry Wright for 40 years. Enormously committed Mom to Todd and Mark (Kris).  She was the most selfless, energetic, bedazzled, fun and fabulous Nana to Claire, Evan, Blake and Tyler. "Big sister" to Pat Howard (Rick) and Shelagh Lalonde (Rob), and she adored her nieces and nephews, and Whitney (Mark), Kirk, and Sarah (David) and their three children.

In lieu of flowers or a donation, please honour Linda by wearing something colourful, calling a friend, carrying-out a quiet act of kindness, smiling at a stranger, and watching some hockey, all things she did with so much vibrancy.

Please join us to celebrate Linda and a life well lived on Wednesday, July 3rd, 4 – 7pm at Harding Waterfront Estate, 2700 Lakeshore Rd W. Mississauga, ON.  (Please wear something colorful!)

We will miss her every day and celebrate the years and experiences that we all shared.
