After a courageous battle with cancer, Lina passed away at the age of 47 surrounded by her family. Loving wife of Frank and cherished mother of John and Lucas. Lina will be deeply missed by her parents Francesco and Vittoria, sister Donna and her extended family and friends. Our hearts will always be filled with countless memories of her sharp wit, her warrior like bravery and her loving devotion to her family, friends, love of food and all things Italian. Visitation will be held at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with mass following at 11:30 a.m. Special thank you to all her supporters including Wellspring, nurses and physicians.
As an expression of sympathy, Lina had requested donations to Wellspring of Halton/Peel, 2545 Sixth Line, Oakville, L6H 7V9 in lieu of flowers. Donation cards will be available at the mass.
