It is with great sadness that the family of Lillian Lessard announces her passing on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 94 years.

Lillian married her true love, Claude Lessard, at the age of 19 and they spent a wonderful 67 years together raising a family, travelling, playing bridge, making ceramics, gardening and dancing.

She was a  devoted and caring mother who loved to spend time with family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lillian will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Blanche (Peter),  Lucy (Bryan), Louise (Bruce), son Bernard and her sister Laura Wilhelm. She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Andrea, Ryan, Kevin, Sara, Kristen, Geoffrey, Shauna, Russell, and Gillian, and her great grandchildren, Aimee, Elise, Dylan, Rosalyn, Blaire, Henry and Josephine as well as her many nieces and nephews.

Our family wishes to offer special thanks to the staff at Chartwell Waterford, and especially to her dear friend, Lunie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at 11:00 am at Saint Matthew Catholic Parish, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, Ontario L6M 1M2.  Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
