Unexpectedly at her residence in Burlington on August 16th, Lesley died leaving her cherished daughter, Heather Watt (Matthew Sparks) as well as her devoted and loving parents Vic and Vere (nee Matthews) Scott.
A Canadian Champion swimmer with numerous national titles to her name, Lesley found great joy swimming in the Atlantic Ocean off the Florida coast. Her gentle and caring nature made her acutely aware of the needs of those around her -- including animals in distress. Lesley rescued many. A Service of Celebration for Lesley's life will take place at St Simon's Anglican Church, 1450 Litchfield Rd, Oakville, Ontario on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has already taken place. A reception will follow at O & B Restaurant in Oakville. All are welcome. Remembrances gratefully acknowledged by Lesley's family; Humane Society of Oakville and Milton and Parkinson Society Canada among the favourite organizations for which she cared so much.
