"I want you to know I've had a wonderful life"
Lesley Annett's battle with ovarian cancer came to an end Sunday, August 25, surrounded by her family at home as was her wish.
She is survived by her husband, Mark, her children Joshua and Jane and son-in-law Gregory Lalonde, sister Lin Abela (Phil) in Taber, Alberta, sister Jean Johnson (Bill) and brother Malcolm Clemitson (Margery) in England. She is predeceased by her brothers Allan and Robert Clemitson, and sisters Mary Watson and Audrey Clemitson. Lovingly remembered by her "angels", extended family and many friends, including her family at the Sun where she worked for over 25 years. Lesley lived life on her own terms and to the fullest, travelling and creating a wonderful environment for all those whom she loved.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Funeral Service to be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Church of the Epiphany, 141 Bronte Road, Oakville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
