Leah passed away peacefully in her home in Oakville on July 19 having just reached her 89th birthday. She was married to her beloved Doug for 39 years until he succumbed to cancer in 1991. Leah was the precious mother of Debbie, Diana (Scott), Lenore and Doug (Kim) and the adored Gramma of Christina, Thomas, David, Mattea and Joel. Born Leah Enslen in a homestead on the prairies of southeastern Alberta, Leah was the third youngest of 10 siblings. The family is very close and she will be missed deeply by her surviving brothers and sisters, Bill, Dan, Emma and Alice. Her warmth, bright smile and gracious heart have touched many lives during her fruitful life. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9pm on Tuesday with a service celebrating Leah's life on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel at 1pm.
