Passed away peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 88th year. Laurence, beloved wife of Alfred Towner for 58 years. Cherished mother to Rheal Towner, Nancy Fisher, Norman Towner and the late Henry Towner. She will be missed by daughters-in-law Beth and Shelley-Ann Towner and son-in-law Darrel Fisher. Predeceased by Shane Fisher. Loving grandmother to Samantha Brien and Emily Fisher, James and Karen Towner, Justin Martin and the late Christopher Williams-Towner. Great-grandmother to Hannah, Sabrina, Nathaniel, Austin, Katie and Erin. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Funeral service will take place 10 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church, 2745 North Ridge Trail, Oakville.
