With great sadness on Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the tender age of 20 and with her family at her side. Beloved daughter of Jan and Paul Peters, loving sister of Kristen, loved granddaughter of Louise & Howard Smith and Kay & Bob Peters, lovingly remembered by Auntie Pam, Uncle Glen (Lorene), Auntie Barb and many cousins & friends. Until recent years, Laura lived her life to the fullest. We fondly remember her winters enjoying Hornets hockey & "Timmies" and summers pitching in the Oakville Softball Association. She was driven to excel in school and enjoyed travelling the world with her family. She dreamed of so much more. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville 3-5 pm Sunday. A service of remembrance to celebrate Laura's life will be held 11:00 am Monday March 7, 2011 at Glen Abbey United Church, 1469 Nottinghill Gate, Oakville. Many thanks to Dr. Backo-Shannon, Carly, the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and to the many other care givers for their loving support over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Oakville Hospital Foundation for designation to the OTMH Eating Disorders Program or to Danielle's Place would be appreciated.
