Suddenly, on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in his 61st year. Mourning him are his beloved wife of 36 years, Theresa O'Connor (nee Hennessy), and their four children, Clare (David) Arthurs, Basil, John and Anne and their loved ones. Kevin was a lover of people and a devoted father. Kevin's hobbies were his family; first last and always. Theresa and Kevin enjoyed travelling to the wine regions of the world, starting in Niagara. He served his community of St Dominic Parish as a Lector and in Seniors Ministry. He was a Halton Catholic District School Board Trustee for nine years. Kevin worked at Menasco Aerospace and then pursued work in career counselling helping others. He worked part-time for CharityAccounts. He taught Continuing Education classes at Sheridan College for over 10 years. He also worked at the LCBO in Burlington where he enjoyed serving all his friends and customers. Kevin is predeceased by his parents Marjorie (Marnie) and John O'Connor and his brother John Charles, and is survived by those who love him; his step-mother Rita O'Connor, sisters Mary (Alistair) Campbell, Cecile O'Connor, Kathryn (Angelo) Sufolletta, Rita O'Connor, Laura (Jim) Krupp and many nieces, nephews and family of the O'Connor and Hennessy clans. The family will receive visitors at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 9, 2015 at St. Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington followed by a reception at St. Dominic. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
