Peacefully on Thursday June 12, 2014 at West Oak Village in Oakville. Ken was in his 85th year and is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate Judy (Killam) and his three wonderful children Donald (Tammy), Brian (Leslie) and Ann (Abdullah). He was extremely proud of his four grandchildren, Jenna, Kristen, Elena and Cole. Ken was an avid tennis player and along with Judy they travelled the world. They particularly enjoyed many adventures in their R.V. Ken was most of all a family man and a friend to everyone. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 4 - 7 pm on Wednesday June 18, 2014 with a Celebration of Ken's Life being held at a later date. The family particularly would like to thank the staff at West Oak Village who went above and beyond to provide Ken with such compassionate care during his stay. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be very much appreciated by the family.
