Ken passed away at age 88.  Always a devoted husband and Dad, Ken taught his children to ski, cycle, motorcycle, canoe, camp and early in their lives he built his family a tent trailer in his driveway so they could have a family "getaway" vacation.  To this day the family camps together with their families at Killbear Park.  Family always knew "Dad would take care of us".

As the children matured, Ken moved on to pursue long motorcycle trips to Panama, Alaska, every province and state.  He enjoyed wonderful friendships within the BMW Motorcycle Club and Halton Outdoor Club.

Ken will be missed by his wife of 64 years, Marilyn and his children David (predeceased), Rhonda, Lynda (Russ), Wendy, Paul and Dave.  Grandchildren Josh, Cole, Heather (Matt), Taylor (Michelle), Connor, Nicole, Brad (predeceased), Ava and Lily and great grandchildren Isabelle and Cam.  Sister Marilyn and brother John (predeceased).

Ken sang in the choir at St. James Roman Catholic Church until covid and health issues intervened.  He loved the choir.  Thanks to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at OTMH, especially Dr. Kazam and Ashley during the final days.  A special thanks to all the friends and family who loved and supported Ken during his illness.

All are welcome to attend a memorial mass at St. James Roman Catholic Church on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Oakville.
