It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ken in his 92 year, at Oakville hospital on January 16, 2025.  Ken is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Lynne Marie (nee Petch) and children Dave (Debby), Lynanne (Dave), Andy (Denise), Gary (Davina), grandchildren Jeff (Becky), Andrew (Lauren), Kate, Jessica (Michael), Matt (Samantha), Taylor and great grandchildren Owen, Parker and Zoe.   Predeceased by son Travis, daughter in law Nancy and grandchildren Christopher and Carey.
Ken was born in New Toronto to parents Ivory and Florence (nee Parizeau) and grew up in a house shared with twin brothers Bruce and Brian, and sisters Joan, Louise, Marjorie, and Sharon.  Ken is remembered as the big brother, a natural athlete who loved sports, tried them all and excelled in lacrosse.  He enjoyed the family cottage on Lake Eugenia spending time with family, boating, water skiing and fishing.  Ken and Lynne spent many winters away in beautiful Destin Florida and enjoyed traveling on their many trips abroad and to other southern destinations.
One of Ken's first jobs was on the railroad working as a fireman then spent 35 years at Continental Can retiring in 1988.  Ken served as a volunteer fireman on the Trafalgar Township Fire Department and also volunteered with the Oakville Art Society.
